About Heather Galvano
I am passionate about helping people. I feel deeply moved by people’s stories, and their courage to share them. My own journey through difficulties has given me great compassion for others’ experiences of suffering and feeling lost. When I initially began seeking a deeper understanding of my own struggles, I was drawn to spirituality, specifically the study of the mind through the lens of Buddhist meditation. In-depth practice over the course of several years gave me a deep appreciation for the power of mindfulness and awareness practices. Through practicing meditation, parts of myself opened up that I had not previously been aware of, and as I searched for greater understanding of them, I delved into the realm of psychotherapy. On both of these paths I have found incredible healing and transformation. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to assist others on their paths of healing, growth, and self-discovery.
